A BEAUTIFUL GIRL and A MORE BEAUTIFUL STORY

The 1st Meeting

It was my brother's engagement day. I just came from the college. My day had been good at the college. I felt something different about that day. I felt like something special, something exciting was about to happen. I got freshened up quickly. My family and I stopped at a relative's (an uncle of mine) house on the way to the engagement. My mom and aunt got busy with their jewelry, sarees etc etc. My father and my uncle were busy talking about their children, their education etc. My uncle asked my whereabouts and my education details which I answered with zero interest. I was feeling lonely and was trying to get busy with the television. Meanwhile, I heard about a girl they were talking about. She was my uncle's daughter. She was in the same class as I was. A subtle smile came to my face on hearing that. She was there somewhere in the house. My uncle called her. She would be there any minute. I was curious to see her. But why was I curious ? Maybe, I was expecting a pretty girl that could be my company for the next few hours. I felt excited and more curious with that thought. She wasn't there yet. I tried to turn my concentration to the television but couldn't. When would she come ? Yes! She was there.

Wow!! She was beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, angelic, lovely, marvelous, splendid, fabulous, pretty, prettiest, wonderful, superb.

Except her, everything else blacked out at that moment. She was like a full moon in a clear sky with beautiful eyes that mesmerizes you and melts your heart away.

Her smile tickles your soul. There is nothing more beautiful in the world to beat it. It haunts you for days.

Those dimples that formed were like two beautiful stars besides a moon.

A straight nose and pinkish lips that supplements her beauty.

Her voice as sweet as honey.

She is an intoxicant. If beauty walks, it's her.

I was lost into a world where we were the only two present and I was doing nothing else than staring at her. For a moment, I felt as if I lost my way back (or may be i didn't wan't to come back at all ). It was my father who brought me back and introduced her. Her name is *****a. It's the most beautiful name i have ever heard. Of course, everything about a beautiful girl looks and sounds beautiful. Isn't it ??
I was lucky enough to have her in the same class and even in the same college as I was but a different campus. Our education seemed to be the best thing to talk about. What else could you talk with a girl if your father is listening to you ?? We didn't had much time before leaving to the function hall. She was sitting among the other women there and I was with my cousins. I was again staring at her with a lot of things running through my mind.

"I am looking at her for the whole time. Why doesn't she look at me at all ?

I don't wan't her to stare at me. But, she could at least look at me and smile just once.

Why am I so fascinated about her when she is not interested in me ?" and a lot more things.

She was going to the dinner area and I wen't behind her :)). Every minute, I was trying to come across her so that we could look at each other. 'Maybe, we can even get into a conversation if I'm lucky'. She looked at me just once and smiled. You can guess what that smile must have done to me. This surely was the special moment I felt earlier that day.
We were back at their house before returning to my home. I got sometime to talk with her. I was very happy to spend time with her. Those were some of the amazing moments of my life. Until my mother called me, I didn't realize that I had to leave. I felt very sad. My heart cried at me not to leave. But, I had to. I received a shake hand from her before leaving. It was her touch that made me happy during that very sad moment.
Only one thing was on my mind while going back to my home that I had to wait for 10 days to see her again. But, how am I supposed to wait for TEN days to see her again ? Why doesn't people in Andhra Pradesh celebrate Mehandhi or some other function in between engagement and marriage ? I was sure that those 10 days were going to be the longest 10 days of my life.

Anyways, 10 days passed and I met her again.

The story continues in my next blog....

IN SEARCH OF CHERRIES

It was a hot summer evening. I was with my friends along the road-side of the most beautiful & busy area of my city hopping for some pretty girls to pass by. There came an angel with lotus eyes and cherry lips waiting for someone (hoping not for her boy friend).

It was not even a minute when my heart was broken into pieces when she got onto the back of a bike and held him so tight probably to let us know that she was commited.

What should I do ??

What can I do :-( except to make my heart understand that it was not the 1st time to happen so… Then a great philosophy had struck my mind

‘See and see till you get yours ;-)’

“ Nature has spread its cherry fields all over the world and there are a lot of tasty ones still left.”

We didn’t find any good-looking girls for the next couple of days. The overwhelming heat of the sun made the hot girls stick to their houses. We had decided to go to the summer exhibition next day hopeful for a bunch of cherries.

Even before we entered the gate, our desperate eyes were searching for the obvious, why we were there for. We started to count the number of pretty girls that we came across. We explored every stall there but our count hardly reached 10.

“Oh God ! where were all the beautiful girls hiding ?”

The day was about to end and we were drowned in high disappointment. We were the last to come out. Finally, it was at the exit where we came across a gorgeous with her father waiting for an auto. While her father was busy bargaining with the autowala, we were busy staring at her. We thought that she never noticed us. While getting into the auto, she gave a subtle smile at me and went away. That was the moment I was flattered to her.

What should I do ??

What can I do :-( except to day-dream about her.
